The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Benue State, Benjamin Omale, has described the success of the party’s national convention as a strong indication of members’ readiness to advance the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu.

In a statement personally issued on Sunday in Makurdi, Omale congratulated President Tinubu and the National Working Committee led by Nentawe Yilwatda for the smooth and peaceful conduct of the convention in Abuja.

He also commended Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia and other APC governors for their coordination and cooperation, which Omale said laid a solid foundation for future party activities. He expressed confidence that the return of the party’s leadership would strengthen the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Omale assured that the ruling party would maintain its strength and work toward winning the 2027 elections at all levels, noting that both President Tinubu and Governor Alia have performed creditably to merit second terms.

He further praised party members for their dedication, resilience, and unity, emphasizing that their active participation and discipline contributed to a peaceful and well organized convention. “This success is not just an event achieved but a strong statement of our shared vision, solidarity, and readiness to move forward with renewed purpose,” Omale said.

The Benue APC chairman also urged party leaders and stakeholders nationwide to sustain their efforts to ensure the re election of President Tinubu and other APC governors in the next general elections.

The All Progressives Congress held its National Convention at Eagle Square, Abuja, last Friday, ratifying leadership structures at ward, local government, state, and zonal levels nationwide, including Omale as Benue State chairman and members of his executive committee.
