China has urged the international community to respect Iran’s sovereignty and avoid actions that could lead to political interference or attempts to reshape the country’s leadership structure. The statement came from senior Chinese officials during a press briefing in Beijing where they addressed the growing conflict involving Iran and its regional rivals. Chinese representatives emphasized that any ces to a nation’s political system should come from its own people rather than through external pressure or military action.

According to the Chinese foreign ministry, maintaining respect for national sovereignty remains a central principle of international law and diplomatic relations. Officials said the current tensions surrounding Iran risk creating a wider crisis if countries begin to challenge those principles. China called on all parties involved in the conflict to exercise restraint and prioritize diplomatic solutions rather than actions that could deepen inility across the Middle East.

Chinese analysts note that the country has long promoted non interference in domestic political matters as part of its foreign policy approach. Beijing often highlights the importance of dialogue and multilateral cooperation when addressing international disputes. In the context of the Iran conflict, Chinese officials stressed that constructive negotiations are the most effective path toward reducing tensions and preventing further escalation in the region.

The statement also reflected China’s broader interest in maintaining ility in the Middle East, a region that plays an important role in global energy markets and international trade routes. Chinese companies and financial institutions maintain economic partnerships across several countries in the region. As a result Beijing has consistently supported efforts aimed at preserving regional security and ensuring that economic activity can continue without disruption.

Diplomatic observers say China’s comments are likely to influence discussions within international forums where governments are debating how to respond to the conflict. Calls for respect for sovereignty and dialogue have also been echoed by several other countries concerned about the potential consequences of prolonged confrontation. As tensions remain high across the Middle East, China’s position highlights the growing international debate about how global powers should approach the crisis and the future of regional ility.
